Used Floor-to-Ceiling Cubicles & Modular Walls
In an office environment, you need to be able to be flexible. That’s where floor-to-ceiling cubicles come in especially handy. They can be used to create several mini-offices that are a lot more private than your typical cubicle.
This can be a great option if your staff need to talk to clients confidentially. It’s also a good option if you want staff to be able to work with fewer distractions. It’s true that people can still stop in and chat. However, this is harder because they have to leave their cubicle.
With your typical half-cubicle layout, all they have to do is to shout over the top.
Why not just build in proper walls? That is an option, for sure. And, it’s not a bad option if you’re going to stick to your current layout for several years to come. The advantage of using full-length privacy screens, though, is that the layout can be changed easily.
Need space to hold the company meeting? Roll back some of the screens to make space. Want to add an extra office space? Just change up the layout. It’s quick, it’s easy, and there’s no construction necessary.
Also, oddly enough, you’re bound to get more privacy than you would with standard drywall. The screens used are often made of thick board and padded on both sides. This has better sound muting properties than plain drywall.
